"About Eddie Nester"

Eddie graduated from Pulaski County High School in 1983. He is Married and has 2 children & 2 grandcheldren. He has been a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the Twin Community Volunteer Fire Department in Parrott and Belspring, Virginia for 29 years.

Eddie started racing when he was 23 years old. He has been a driver or on a pit crew since 1988. He started racing at the newly built Pulaski County Speedway. He raced in Mini Stock from 1988 to 1991 then took 1992 to 1995 off from driving and worked on some different crews. In 1996 Eddie started driving a Mini Stock again until he had a accident in Janurary 1999 on his job where he broke both legs. He had to take the 1999 season off to let his legs heal. In 2000 he started driving again on a limited schedule until he was completely healed. He ran a full schedule 2001 to 2003 finishing 10th in points his best finish ever. In 2004 he was off to a good start when he had another accident where he had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his left side of his face, arm, and side of his chest. In 2005 and 2006 Eddie ran a limited number of races. Eddie took the 2007 & 2008 seasons off to finish his new car. In 2009 Eddie Started driving again in his 2004 Ford Mustang built by RBR Race Cars in Dublin Va. he is presently working on getting ready for 2012 season.
